Year 9 English students celebrated ‘National Poetry Day’ on the 6th October by writing the traditional Japanese poetry: the Haiku, on the theme of the environment. Our Year 12 boys narrowly missed out on overall victory at the Year 12 football tournament at Parkhall on Wednesday. After qualifying as group winners, the boys won the semi-final on penalties before losing to St. Killian’s in the same manner in the final.
Well done to our Year 8 boys who took part in their first friendly game of the season against Parkhall.
