Cullybackey College played in the Under 14 Cup Blitz, performing exceptionally throughout.
The boys really stepped up in effort and focus after a tough league campaign ended in disappointment earlier in the season.
The squad finished their cup journey victorious, and full of high spirits, winning a hard-fought contest in the 3rd placed play off against a much-fancied Slemish College.
Scorers on the day were Jamie McCullough and player of the tournament, the excellent Jayden Reid. Special mention must also go to ‘man mountain’ Sam McClelland who let nothing past him all day, including two vital goal line blocks.
