Our Year 9 footballers recently made the semi finals of the Mid Antrim Schools Cup in a hotly contested competition. The boys started out with a 1-1 draw with Dunclug (Rory Wylie with an absolute screamer of a goal!) followed by a 3-0 defeat against a strong St Killians outfit.
We progressed to semi-finals on goal difference and, despite heroics from Robbie Wilkinson in goals, the final was a stretch to far against Parkhall College, who went on to lose the final against Cambridge.
A great performance from our boys who showed a real professionalism in their approach to the whole tournament. Players of the tournament: Robbie Wilkinson and Mark Cameron.
