The school held their annual Sports Day on Tuesday 10th June. This was a roaring success as a whole school event, with all staff involved in ensuring a fun day for all pupils.
As always, the popular ice-cream van was a big hit, and pupils made use of the face painters. Elsewhere, pupils had the opportunity to test their obstacle course skills as well as the chance to sponge their teachers.
The athletics was a massive success with a range of events on the track and field for all boys and girls. Pupils participated in the 100m, 200m and 800m on the track, as well as the Shot Putt and Long Jump. Congratulations to all our medal winners in each event as well as our overall Year champions.
This year special mention must go to Ryan Ilavbare who claimed a new school record with a High Jump height of 1.37cm being cleared.
