Our Under 16 rugby squad travelled to City of Derry to participate in their Northern regional Ulster qualifier’s on Wednesday, with the top two sides advancing to the finals day of the U16 High Schools Shield.
Despite difficult opposition in Holy Cross Strabane, St. Eunan’s College Letterkenny and Sperrin Integrated, the boys battled proudly, just being pipped at the post to qualify for the finals.
This has been a great learning year for this developing Under 16 squad and there is no doubt that, with another year of experience under their belt, they will be a bigger force in this competition next season.
