With the good weather upon us, the Art & Design classroom moved outdoors to the Millenium Walk to make the most of it.
Within class, pupils have been exploring the work of French Impressionist artist Claude Monet and they replicated his working methods of drawing ‘en plein air’ during this workshop.
Mrs Andrews accompanied 8a4 and 8a1/2 (group 3) with the MAC Satellite’s visiting artist, to explore a range of recording techniques and take a closer look at the world around us.
We hope the sun continues shining as the other year 8 classes accompany their Art teachers later this term during this activity.
