Cup fever at the College

Excitement is building in school around the sporting competitions happening this week and next.

First up our Year 9 footballers play their Mid-Antrim semi-final against Parkhall College on Thursday. With the likes of Cody Pinkerton and Codi Wilson leading the team, the boys have a great chance of reaching the final. Then, on Friday, our Year 11 squad play their semi-final against rivals Slemish College. After a super ‘Ben Clarke inspired’ victory against Sperrin in the previous round, the boys will be hoping to build on this performance. Both of these games will be played on our recently redeveloped pitch at Pottinger Street.

In rugby, our Under 14 squad travel to face a strong Strangford Integrated College side on Tuesday 27th February. Fresh after a thumping 27-0 win against Glengormley, the boys will be raring to go in this Ulster High Schools Shield competition.

Everybody connected with the College wish all the boys and staff the best of luck in these upcoming competitions. The school wish to thank once again our sponsors from MB Motors, Cranswick, Wallace’s of Ballymena and Mortgage Wise.
