Cullybackey College Success at the Balmoral Show

Several Cullybackey College students competed at the Balmoral show this year, all of which achieved great success in their respective classes.

– Amy Moore achieved 5th in the Badgerface texel ewe lamb class and 2nd in the young handler class.
– Ellie Moore achieved Dorset champion and 1st place with her pair of lambs.
– Robbie Linton competed in the Texel classes, achieving 2nd with his aged ewe, 6th with his ram lamb and 1st in the young breeder class.
– Adam Gregg competed in the Hampshire down classes, achieving 1st in the Novice breeder, 4th with his ram lamb and 4th with his aged ewe.
– Rhys Rodgers competed with his Simmental bull achieving 3rd in the junior young handlers. Rhys also made a TV appearance, talking about the Simmental breed.

As a school we are very proud of our young farmers and are delighted to see them excelling in an area they have so much passion for!
