Cullybackey College at the Courtauld

Whilst we adjusted once again to remote learning at the start of 2021, Y13 Art & Design students were privileged to have been selected to work on an exciting online project with the Courtauld Institute of Art in London.

The project titled ‘Fashion Sense‘ took inspiration from Renoir’s painting ‘La Loge‘, currently on loan to the Ulster Museum, as a starting point to consider the idea of ‘the gaze‘.  Working alongside artist and illustrator Toya Walker, students produced a front cover and double page spread for their own zine exploring.

Please click here to find out more about the project and view their work together with that from other participating schools, Newbridge Integrated College and Slemish College.

A huge congratulations to all those who took part.
