The Under 12s Rugby Squad took part in the NEEBSA Rugby tournament yesterday at Coleraine Grammar School. The boys performed exceptionally throughout, in what were atrocious conditions with the constant falling of snow and ice on the ground. A huge well done to the Under 14 Rugby Squad on their match against Cambridge House Grammar School yesterday. The inexperienced squad travelled to the local grammar school with many of the boys representing the College for the very first time. Huge congratulations to our U14 Rugby Squad who represented Cullybackey College at the U14 High School Bowl at City of Derry Rugby Club. The squad performed excellently throughout their fixtures on the day, scoring several tries on the way. They were a real credit to the college, with many representing the Cullybackey at their first sporting event.
Our Year 8 Rugby team recently participated in the Let Them Play tournament run by Ulster Rugby, hosted at Ballymoney RFC. Credit to all of the boys who performed admirably in their first competitive games for the school. Noticeable performances were made across the whole squad and they look forward to more fixtures and tournaments
