Year 8 and 9 pupils entered the Number Heroes Competition as part of National Numeracy Day. They had to create a picture of their dream job or hobby and state the different ways that numbers could be used. Well done to all the prize winners!

Year 8 pupils took part in their Maths Fun Day on Friday. They participated in lots of different activities and won loads of prizes!
To celebrate Pi Day, pupils were set a challenge to see who could recall Pi to 100 decimal places. Congratulations to Daisy Pritchard (10A1), Filip Izykowicz (9A1) and Lewis Maternaghan (9A1) who rose to the challenge and also put their Maths teacher to the test! Well done to everyone involved.
