Times Table Rockstars
KS3 pupils had the opportunity to take part in a Numeracy Competition with ‘Times Table Rockstars’ as part of Irelands’ Maths Week. An amazing 279 pupils took part. Cullybackey College offers the Reading Partners programme with the aim of improving confidence, literacy skills and enjoyment of reading. Maths Fun Day
Year 8 pupils took part in their Maths Fun Day on Friday. They participated in lots of different activities and won loads of prizes!
National Pi Day
To celebrate Pi Day, pupils were set a challenge to see who could recall Pi to 100 decimal places. Congratulations to Daisy Pritchard (10A1), Filip Izykowicz (9A1) and Lewis Maternaghan (9A1) who rose to the challenge and also put their Maths teacher to the test! Well done to everyone involved.
