Business students visited the long established Kilwaughter Minerals Ltd. who manufacture and distribute innovative limestone-based products. To begin the day the Human Resources manager gave a short presentation on the background of the business then students were shown first-hand how the K-Rend brand is used for building purposes, followed by a short demonstration in the R&D department on how they test their products, a sunny site tour of the production plant and finishing off with the students making a lovely tea light candle holder using their quick drying cement.
