On Thursday 19th June, Year 8 and some Year 10 pupils had the opportunity to attend a Bible Exhibition kindly set up by ‘Journey2Where’. During this event, we moved around 10 different stations learning lots of amazing and wonderful facts about the Bible including how it began and has evolved over time to the format we currently use, as well as stories of Noah and the Ark, the Dead Sea Scrolls which were found in 1947 and we also had the opportunity to learn about people in countries around the world today who experience persecution because of their faith.
We completed answers to short questions at each station we visited, before taking part in a team quiz at the end to test our knowledge of what we had learned during the session. Prizes for the best work will awarded to some pupils next week.
We are extremely grateful to Paul and his team at ‘Jourey2Where’ for taking the time to come into Cullybackey College to deliver this exhibition; it was an event which was thoroughly enjoyed by all pupils.
