Our Sixth Form Travel & Tourism students swapped the classroom for the runway today with a visit to George Best Belfast City Airport!
As part of their current units of work, the group went behind the scenes to explore the “nuts and bolts” of a major international transit hub. From understanding the complexities of passenger terminal operations, to discussing strategic security protocols, and customer service excellence, our students got a first-hand look at the diverse career pathways available right on our doorstep.
A huge thank you to the team at Belfast City Airport for the warm welcome and for sharing invaluable industry insights that will undoubtedly help our students “reach new heights” in their upcoming assessments!
