Steve McGall spoke at Senior SU today on the subject of “Focusing on God”. We considered the story from the book of Exodus where the Israelites lost their focus on God and forgot all He had done for them; they began to grumble and complain about their present circumstances. Steve helped us to remember through a study of this passage that God is always in ultimate control and when we find ourselves in stressful or difficult circumstances in life we should refocus on God and remember that nothing is impossible for Him.
Our next meeting of Senior SU is Wednesday 26th November – Andrew McCartney from Open Doors UK will be speaking to us about ‘Persecution in the Modern World’.
