The North Eastern (NEBSSA) Schools’ Cross Country event returned to the sporting calendar this week (the first since 2019) and was held at Six Mile Water in Ballyclare. This year we had 40 pupils competing in the events which were run over distances of 1600m (Year 8 and 9) and 3200m (Year 10 and seniors). Our pupils performed admirably against some tough opposition. Without doubt this is a sport that many of our pupils are talented in and it was a great opportunity to showcase their fitness and potential against schools from the surrounding areas. Well done to all pupils who took part.
