Our U16 and U14 rugby squads recently began their respective Ulster High School competitions with double headers against local rivals Sperrin College and Ballymoney HS. These sets of games were away fixtures and, despite defeat in each game, the boys performed admirably in all four games.
The boys dig deep each and every time they pull on the shirt for the school and there are clear signs of progression amongst each group of players. It was back to the grind of training this week and they now travel to Ballymena RFC to play old foes Dunclug College. These games will prove to be epic battles with great respect shown in previous encounters between the two schools.
