GCSE Agriculture

GCSE Agriculture students enjoyed a tour of CAFRE’s Greenmount campus and of the British Wool Marketing Board’s Muckamore Depot.

The students enjoyed learning about milk production in Northern Ireland and gained vital knowledge of new innovations in the fields of grass production and calf management.

They also learned what happens to Northern Irish wool after it leaves the farm and got the chance to observe how it is graded and processed.
