Last week pupils from the Senior Scripture Union took part in an activity to encourage the staff in Cullybackey College. The pupils met to create chocolate KitKat treats with a verse from the Bible attached. These treats were then given out to members of staff in the school in the hope that they would bring a smile to many faces. The note wished staff a positive start to the new term, while reminding them to also find time to “take a break”. The verse from Matthew 11 v 28 also reminded staff that those who are weary can always turn to Jesus who provides complete rest.
Senior Scripture Union takes place during senior lunchtime on Thursday of week 2 and all senior pupils or any staff are very welcome to come along.
