Jane Robertson, the Fundraising Manager from the charity Tearfund, visited Cullybackey College today to speak to pupils about the vital work the charity is involved in. Jane shared news about the people of Nepal and helping them to build safe houses for when earthquakes strike. Students from Years 8 and 9 are currently preparing for the Tearfund Walk at Shane’s Castle next Friday. Last year Cullybackey College was the post primary school in Northern Ireland with the highest amount of money raised for Tearfund – let’s see if we can achieve such success again this time.
