Sixth Form pupils at Cullybackey College proudly handed over a cheque for £3942 to Muriel Barr from the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice Ballymena Support Group on Thursday 25th January. Various fundraising activities have taken place in recent weeks with students braving the snowy elements to complete a bed push in December, participating in a sponsored cycle as well as holding a coffee morning for staff at the College. Pupils even took to the streets to collect money for the worthwhile cause, with this event alone raising an astonishing £899.09! The College would like to thank the extremely generous people of Cullybackey who donated to the street collection and to everyone who gave their money, time and support to any of the events. The donation will go a long way to help provide specialist care and facilities to children very much in need of it.
