The Under 14 Rugby team have made it through to the Ulster High Schools’ Shield Semi-Final after a great 35-26 victory against St Malachy’s from Belfast. This is a truly remarkable achievement to reach this stage, in a competition which involves the best secondary school sides from throughout Ulster. The boys, lead by Max Mitchell, Daniel, Lowry, Joel Aitchison and James Orr, will now face strong opposition in either Carndonagh High School or Killicomaine Junior High School in their semi-final.
Rugby continues to thrive at the College with the Year 8s involved in Ulster qualifiers in the next two weeks, whilst the Under 16s have made it through to the Ulster High Schools’ Plate quarterfinals also.
