Our Year 9 football team faced up to the challenge of Cambridge House this week in the semi-final of the Mid Antrim Cup. Played in wet conditions at our home pitch, the boys dug deep and deservedly took the lead through a cracker from Jesse Marks.
Cambridge managed to equalise just before half time and then went on to score three more goals in the second half to win the tie 4-1.
Credit to each of our players’, this team continue to set the standard in terms of attitude on and off the pitch. Best on the day for Cullybackey were Sam Henry, Jesse Marks’ and goalkeeper Daniel Morris.
