Year 8 history pupils recently participated in a living history workshop on the Norman Conquest. Engaged pupils learned about two Norman characters, handled weapons and artefacts from the time, examined the tactics of the Normans during the Battle of Hastings and participated in an activity, “Who should be King?”.
The workshop served to enhance and develop pupil knowledge and understanding of the Norman Conquest. Thank you to the Navan Centre for their excellent, fun and engaging workshop.
