Our Year 11 football team entertained St. Patrick’s College last week in the opening round of the Mid Antrim Cup. Fresh off reaching the semi-finals of the Mid-Antrim blitz, the boys were in good spirits heading into this game. A slow start found our boys one nil down at half time. This soon followed with two more goals before the boys started to play proper football. A missed penalty, a strike off the post and a late screamer by Cody Pinkerton left us losing the game by three goals to one. Best on the day for Cullybackey were goalkeeper Ryan McIlmoyle and midfielder Hayden Gordon.
