Cullybackey Year 11 Agriculture class attended a “schools day out trip” to AFBI at Hillsborough.
They had a talk on soil health, grass seed, Anaerobic digestion, dairy, pigs and poultry welfare.
This trip linked in very closely with the topics that they have been studying in Agriculture.
After the farm tour the group had the opportunity to chat to staff at CAFRE and Ulster University and find out what courses are available after they leave school.
Thanks to AFBI for this fantastic experience, it was thoroughly enjoyed by all!
