Cullybackey College travelled to their very first Under 18s tournament in high spirts, coming up against some of the top rugby playing high schools in the whole Province. The squad performed exceptionally throughout the very tough competition, eventually finishing second overall.
The squad were led fantastically by James Orr who set extremely high standards, with special mention going to Christopher Michael, Myles Cummins and Sam Gault, all of whom put their bodies on the line in every match and backed that up with hard running and some fantastic tries.
Well done to everyone involved and thank you to Ulster Rugby for hosting such a wonderful tournament. The boys now look forward to the future challenges they will face this season as they enter the blitz style tournament.
