The Under 14 Rugby squad ended their Ulster Cup competition with a hard fought, and last gasp, defeat to Larne High School. With the squad missing a few key stalwarts through injury, it showed the commitment of this squad, that they still turned up on a cold, wet day to show their support and encourage their teammates. Tries on the day were scored by Lucas Taylor (2) and Harry McKeown, with the latter adding points from the boot. Unfortunately, Larne’s fitness, and further injuries on the day, played a key role and they were able to score the winning try in the last few moments of the game. A huge congratulations to the boys for their all their efforts and I would encourage you to keep getting out to training to prepare for further matches after the half term break. Man of the match: Lucas Taylor – exceptional with and without the ball.
