Cullybackey College Under 14 Rugby squad put in a fantastic display of skill, fitness and team work to defeat Slemish College on Tuesday 21st November. Despite starting off poorly the team were able to run in five tries in total – Ismael Mohammed, Scott Donley, Mark Wilson, Ben Shaw and Jonny Wylie all grabbed a try a piece in an entertaining game. Outstanding performances were put in by every member of the squad, with many players participating in their first competitive game of Rugby. Max Mitchell was simply immense whilst Stuart Gordon lead the team with a great work ethic. Chris Boyd, Charlie Glass, Adam McCahon, Jay Shannon and John Bovill all did themselves proud. With further competitions, tournaments and matches lined up, this promises to be another good year of rugby development in the College.
