Our Under 14 squad took part in their cup competition at Ballymena Showgrounds, with the weather matching the quality of football on show. The squad performed exceptionally throughout and should be delighted with their efforts, as well as the commitment, team work and sportsmanship they displayed.
Cullybackey’s player of the tournament was Captain Max Brown who lead by example both on the pitch and off it. It was so pleasing to see Max step up into this leadership role and he went above and beyond to ensure the young squad was focused and encouraged. All players contributed throughout the tournament and I am sure there were many tired legs in the evening.
