The U14 rugby squad had their first ‘hit out’ of the season where they took part in the U14 7s tournament held at Carrickfergus RFC. The boys have been training hard on a Monday afternoon, and it was great to see the squad representing the school in a very professional manner. The boys played matches against Ballyclare Secondary, Ashfield Boys High School, Abbey Community College and Bangor Academy and it was fantastic to see them record their first victory of the season. Harry Steele captained a youthful squad who should be very proud of their efforts and now look forward to a cup run commencing in the coming weeks.
