Our Under 13 football recently participated in the Mid Antrim Schools’ Year 9 football league blitz. This is a hugely popular fixture in our school calendar and our team did themselves proud. Despite a last minute defeat to Dunclug in the first game, with Jamie Faloon scoring early on, the squad performed heroically throughout the five back to back games.
Of note in the blitz was a fantastic victory over eventual winners Cambridge House, with Daisy Hoffin scoring an absolute screamer to overcome a really talented team.
Best on the day for Cullybackey were Izak Richmond, Jamie Faloon, Daisy Hoffin and Harry McKeown.
