Y14 Art & Design students, accompanied by Mrs Andrews, visited the Braid Arts Centre to view the ‘Stitching Story: Past and Future’ exhibition. Artist Wilma Kirkpatrick provided pupils with an insight into the story of how and why each of the quilts were made. She later introduced and demonstrated a range of textile techniques that pupils can continue working on back in the classroom.
