Senior SU met again today at lunch and we were pleased to have Andrew McCartney from Open Doors UK come and speak to us about the persecuted Church throughout the world. We continued our theme for the year, “SHINE”, by considering how privileged we are to live in a country where we have complete religious freedom but how we should also be challenged to “shine the light of our faith” as an example to others, even when situations make it difficult.
Senior SU will not meet next week as it is exam week. Our final meeting for 2025 will be on Wednesday 17th December (Senior SU Christmas Party).
