Year 13 Art & Design students visited the Royal Ulster Academy annual exhibition at the Ulster Museum this week. As part of their education programme students were fortunate to avail of a ‘meet the artist’ opportunity with artist Sharon Kelly who spoke about her work within the show and facilitated a workshop exploring ideas within it. Following this, a guided tour was given of the show by Jonathan, whose wealth of knowledge about the work gave everyone a greater insight. This experience will be documented within student’s portfolios and help inspire work produced this year. This opportunity was funded by the RUA for which we are grateful.
