Year 10 pupil Ross Stevenson achieved an unprecedented “double-double” after collecting double Gold in the Junior Boys’ 100m and 200m finals at Antrim Forum on Saturday 18th May. Ross claimed personal best times in both events to become Ulster Champion and this matched his same feat at last year’s finals. This follows his double at the NEBSSA championships where he achieved Gold in the same events.
Ross now enters the All-Ireland Schools’ Championship at Tullamore in June, where he will face stiffer competition in a bid to retain his Irish title from last year. Well done Ross!
