New Visions: MAC Satellite – Y11 GCSE students worked alongside our partner artist Jayne Cherry exploring ways of drawing. Working collaboratively with the artist and their teachers, Miss Gallagher and Mrs Andrews, students created a large observational drawing which later was worked into with stitch. Aside from enjoying many benefits of working together and the meditative process of sewing, this work will form part of their overall portfolio. Jayne brings so much encouragement and enthusiasm during her visits and commented that for her “it is all learning and moving forward in my creative journey too”.
