The Year 9 Hockey team played the final round of the Ballymena League against rivals Cambridge House on Monday 11th February. The girls started off the game really well, with lots of energy and determination. This showed in the game as they spent most of the match in the Cambridge House half, constantly attacking. Year 9 star Anna-Grace Donnelly scored the first two goals, with help from the ever attacking star Erin Hampshire. Shanefa Spiers also scored two goals and young year 8 star Elana McKay also getting her name on the score sheet for the day.
An excellent season from the Year 9 girls, with superb team work from the all the girls on the team. Congratulations girls!
