Our new pupils in Year 8 turned out for their first sporting experience at Cullybackey College last Friday afternoon. The squad of 20 players played Dunclug College on our home pitch in a very competitive game, great preparation for upcoming competitions this season. On Wednesday 25th September 2024, Senior SU met at lunchtime for the first time this year. We were delighted that so many senior school pupils took time out of their day to attend. We studied the Bible passage where Peter walked on water and thought about how we can use this passage to help us
Junior Scripture Union met for the first time today. We were delighted at how many pupils attended. We spent time getting to know each other and thought about the unmeasurable love of Jesus.
As part of the KS3 History study of conflict, Year 9 student Jamie Faloon showcased to his class a USA service medal from the War in Afghanistan and a service manual given to soldiers. Students were amazed to see both the medal and manual. Great work Jamie.

On Saturday 14th September Art & Design teacher Mrs Andrews attended the opening of the AADE (Association of Art Education) annual teacher’s exhibition at Holywood Library where her artwork was part of the show. The proceeds from sales will go to support this year’s charity Solas which supports those living with Autism and additional needs.
