Year 11 GCSE History students recently visited Belfast to compliment their study of the Northern Ireland Troubles. Students went on a bus/walking guided tour of Belfast where they visited many historical sites of Belfast including the Crumlin Road Gaol, Shankill Road area, peace walls, interface areas as well as the Falls Road area. Students visited specific locations that they have been learning about in class. This was an excellent day that linked in very well with the students current unit of study.
