Our Young Enterprise company ‘Resin by the Maine’ were selling their handmade glitter initial key rings today at St George’s Market, Belfast. They made lots of sales and enjoyed the festive cheer. They will be also selling at the school fair today. We would love to see you there!

Year 11 students took part in the Young Enterprise Personal Economics programme. This engaging and interactive programme helps improve their knowledge of making, spending and saving money in the world around them. They had the opportunity to learn how to interpret payslips and bank statements and understand methods of payments. Thanks to Ryan for delivering

On Friday 15th September Year 8 pupils took part in the Young Enterprise Programme ‘Step Up’. Pupils worked with others in their year group to find out about their new school. Each group used the skills they had learnt and completed the task of designing a fun business challenge.

Year 9 students took part in the Young Enterprise ‘Blast Off’ programme. This programme gives students a enjoyable entrepreneurial experience by helping to enhance their own employability skills and qualities. Students look at famous entrepreneurs and what skills and qualities they have and then get their creative thinking caps on to decide on a product

On Thursday 8th December Year 10 pupils took part in the Young Enterprise Business Programme. The day involved working in teams to complete a series of enterprise challenges taking on the role of small business owners. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed their day and enjoyed making their own colourful bracelets.

This years’ Young Enterprise team, ‘Seasonal Sensations’ took part in ‘The YE Big Market’ . The team, equipped with their seasonal products, took part in selling, marketing and customer service as part of the annual event at St George’s Market, Belfast. This bespoke event allowed our pupils to gain a hands on experience of life

Year 13 pupils took part in ‘You’re Hired!’ Young Enterprise programme. Pupils engaged in several activities to help develop their skills needed to apply for and get a job in the future. All pupils thoroughly enjoyed the session.

Year 8 pupils took part in the Young Enterprise ‘Step Up Programme’. This worthwhile programme focused on developing skills and positive attitudes as they make their leap from primary school to Cullybackey College. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the sessions.

On Monday Year 13 students took part in the Young Enterprise Success Skills Programme. This very worthwhile programme helped the students develop their employability skills through learning how to complete a CV, job application and how to prepare for an interview for their future careers.
