Sixth form students have volunteered as Peer Mentors to KS3 pupils. The programme aims to help junior pupils learn more about topics such as bullying, and mental health. Many thanks to all Sixth form students for getting involved.

We were pleased to welcome Trevor, Annie and Audrey from ‘Good News for All’ today. Year 8 pupils were presented with copies of the New Testament and Psalms. They were told about the everlasting life that was possible through the blood of Jesus.
Year 8 had a great Induction trip to We are Vertigo on Friday. New friendships were made and plenty of fun was had. We are very proud of how well our Year 8 pupils have settled into Cullybackey College.

On Friday 21st June we held our ACTIV8 event for local P6 pupils. Cullybackey College hosted over 600 Primary 6 pupils from local primary schools for a programme of interactive workshops and shows relating to PE, Maths, Geography, History and English. Well done to Year 8 pupils who were part of the 100% Club, achieving full attendance this term. They will enjoy a dessert and DVD afternoon on Thursday.

The College was delighted to welcome John, Trevor and Derek from ‘Good News for All.’ Every Year 8 pupil received a copy of the New Testament and Psalms and were encouraged to learn about the love of Jesus through reading His Word.
Year 13 and 14 students received training for Reading Partners and Numeracy Mentoring. They will be working on a one to one basis with KS3 pupils. Well done for volunteering to take on this important role.
