Scripture Union met at lunchtime on Thursday 27th February in Mrs McDonald’s room. Jess and Simon from Coaching for Christ were our speakers. We discussed 1st Corinthians 13 and the importance of loving others and ourselves, because God first loved us.

Junior Scripture Union met on Thursday 13th February at lunchtime. Everyone enjoyed the ice cream party! Year 13 pupils spoke about how the Bible tells us to ‘taste and see that the Lord is good.’

Senior SU Trust
Senior Scripture Union met on Wednesday 22nd January and was led by Rachel Sheppard and the team from SUNI. The group examined what it means to trust God and had fun learning to trust each other too!

Junior SU met today at lunchtime. Steve McGall from 1st Ahoghill was our speaker. We discussed who or what we put our trust in. We read from the Bible and learnt that God always keeps his promises and we can trust in Him completely.

Junior SU met again last week with Mrs Marcus speaking about her trips to India with the charity Saphara. We learned about schools in India and the education that the charity brings to the children there. We also discussed how there is only one true sovereign God, who loves us unconditionally.

SU Returns
Junior Scripture Union met today in Mrs McDonald’s room at lunchtime. We were delighted to have over 50 pupils attending, where we played games to help us meet new people, and watched a video about how important God’s love is in our lives.
