Cullybackey’s Year 9 Netball team played Slemish College last Friday at home, winning 7-3. The team have won three games in a row now and are looking forward to their next fixture.

Lucy Gillespie, Jessica Mark and Yasmine Gillespie all represented the school on Saturday 6th October at the Ulster Schools’ Show Jumping held at the MEC, Lurgan. Lucy was unfortunate to end the day with 4 faults. Jessica Mark ended the day on 8 faults and Yasmine Gillespie had a few schooling errors. The girls plan to be back

European Day of Languages was celebrated in style on Wednesday 26th September within the French Department. Several prizes were won by year 8 pupils who participated in a European table quiz in class and a Treasure hunt competition was also launched. On Friday 22nd June 2018 Cullybackey College welcomed 700 pupils from 25 local primary schools for a programme of interactive workshops and shows relating to PE, Maths, Geography, ICT, History and English. Pupils engaged in a range of learning experiences which encouraged them to think in different ways.
