Junior Scripture Union met for the first time today. We were delighted at how many pupils attended. We spent time getting to know each other and thought about the unmeasurable love of Jesus.

As part of the KS3 History study of conflict, Year 9 student Jamie Faloon showcased to his class a USA service medal from the War in Afghanistan and a service manual given to soldiers. Students were amazed to see both the medal and manual. Great work Jamie.

On Saturday 14th September Art & Design teacher Mrs Andrews attended the opening of the AADE (Association of Art Education) annual teacher’s exhibition at Holywood Library where her artwork was part of the show. The proceeds from sales will go to support this year’s charity Solas which supports those living with Autism and additional needs.

Last week four students from Cullybackey College made the journey to Liverpool to represent NI at the European Youth Parliament. This is a very prestigious event which welcomes hundreds of students from schools right across the UK.
