Agriculture Health and Safety Talk

The Year 11 GCSE Agriculture class had a presentation from Health and Safety. Mr David Lowe chatted to the class about Farm safety. Mr Lowe explained the  Farm Health and Safety moto “SAFE“; how most farming accidents fall into the four categories, Slurry, Animals. Falls or Equipment. The Year 11 class are the future in farming and they need to be able to form a risk assessment on a farm. The talk was very beneficial and linked into their GCSE Agriculture course.
