A-Level RE Educational Visit

Last week Year 14 A-Level RE students visited Union Theological College in Belfast. During their visit, they were given a brief history of the College and a tour of the famous Gamble Library before attending a lecture from the Vice Principal and Senior Lecturer in Historical Theology , Rev. Dr Martyn Cowan, on the life and work of the Early Christian figure, Tertullian. This lecture was extremely beneficial to the pupils as it relates directly to the ‘Early Christian Writers’ topic which forms part of the CCEA specification in A-Level Religious Studies.
We are grateful to Union Theological College, Belfast for their warm welcome and allowing us to have this experience.
