A-Level Art & Design students visit the Royal Ulster Academy

A-Level Art & Design students visited the Royal Ulster Academy annual exhibition at the Ulster Museum.

Maggie Bowen from the RUA education team, and Mrs Andrews own school Art teacher, gave an insightful tour of the exhibition allowing all to learn so much more about the ideas behind the work and what inspired the artists.

Pupils had an opportunity to explore other exhibits within the museum before experiencing a little bit of student life with lunch at Queen’s Student’s Union whilst watching the winter graduations.

A visit to the Tropical Ravine and Palm House in Botanic Garfens allowed time to take first hand images to support projects within the classroom.

An inspirational day all around. Thank you to Ms Boyd who accompanied and supported our pupils.
