Year 14 History students recently visited Dublin to compliment their knowledge of the A2 level unit, the Partition of Ireland. During the day, students undertook guided tours of Kilmainham Gaol, Glasnevin Cemetery and Arbour Hill Cemetery – all significant locations relevant to their studies. Students also took part in a walking tour of Easter Rising, Anglo-Irish War and Irish Civil War sites across Dublin. A great opportunity to see many of the sites they have been learning about in class. An excellent day that was very beneficial to the students as they continue to prepare for their A2 level examination.
