The senior team, led by Matthew Kirk, got off to a great start in the most prestigious competition in schools’ football with a 5-3 victory over Oakgrove Integrated, Londonderry. A superb hat-trick for Dane Archer, a thunderbolt from all of 35 yards from Matthew Kirk and a dipping long range effort from Calan McFall was enough to seal a well-deserved victory.
The boys now go onto to face Banbridge Academy in Round 2.
